Clinicians With An Interest In Crisis Stabilization Services

Clinical Assessment Group + New Mexico Crisis Counseling seeks masters-level therapists to provide short-term, remote crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing suicidal ideation or at risk of significant decline while on waitlists for long-term therapy. This role demands a unique blend of professional fearlessness and a desire to grow professionally in one of the harder topics in mental health. Specialized training and supervision will be provided. We utilize evidence-based approaches like DBT, CBT, and CAMS.  All clinical staff have access to ongoing professional development in critical areas of mental health, including sexual health.

Required Licensure: LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Prior experience in crisis intervention is not required. Successful candidates will have access to ongoing training, development, and regular supervision to enhance their crisis intervention skills.

Schedule: Flexible based on your availability.

Location: In-person from our Albuquerque office, telehealth from anywhere in New Mexico, and hybrid options are available.

Job Types: W2, Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: $55–65 per hour

Unique Training Opportunity: We provide training in evidence-based approaches to suicide assessment and intervention, including Collaborative Assessment & Management of Suicidality (CAMS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicidal Patients (CBT-SP) & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We also provide ongoing specialized supervision tailored to the unique challenges of crisis counseling.
